Academia is YBP Library Service's online collection development resource for all academic libraries. Academia, published twelve times per year, includes selection lists of new books, publishing industry news, award-winning titles, and other features to aid collection development in academic libraries of every size and type.

Selection lists in Academia are created by YBP bibliographers who examine over 50,000 titles each year for our approval and slip plan programs, with book-in-hand. Through Academia all libraries can draw upon our bibliographers' expertise, whether or not they have an approval plan.

Academia is also a convenient place to find all the information you'll need to take advantage of special prepublication offers from publishers.
