Information for B&T Internet Ordering Shutdown and new B&T Link Online
B&T Internet Ordering (BTIO) shut down at the end of the business day on Friday, January 9, 2004. Customers have 30 days from the time of shut down (1/9/04) to transfer their BTIO carts to B&T Link Online. To transfer carts, you must already be registered for B&T Link Online. Once you are registered, log in to B&T Link Online and at the Main Menu click on BIO Carts Transfer, where you will see the following procedure:
Transferring carts to B&T Link Online
You are about to transfer your existing Baker & Taylor Internet Ordering carts to your new account on B&T Link Online. Doing this will allow you to access all of your current cart information in the new ordering system. Please review the following steps before you initiate the transfer. Once you have clicked on the 'Submit' button, you will no longer have access to the Baker & Taylor Internet Ordering system.
Delete carts you don't need
Review your current list of Baker & Taylor Internet Ordering carts. To simplify your work in B&T Link Online, you may want to delete any carts that you do not need to transfer.
Transmit open orders
Complete and transmit any open orders that you are currently working on. Only 'Confirmed' carts can be transferred. Carts in 'Build' status cannot be transferred and will be lost.
Check your work
Check your list of carts one more time. Once you click on the 'Submit' button, you will no longer have access to Baker & Taylor Internet Ordering. You cannot 'Undo' the transfer!
Click on 'Submit'
The cart transfer will take 24 hours. After the transfer is complete, you will be able to access your carts again in the new B&T Link Online ordering system.
NOTE: If you currently are registered at our corporate website, www.btol.com, you will still need to register for B&T Link Online. Once you register, your BTOL username and password will be the same for B&T Link Online. You will be able to move your BIO shopping carts to B&T Link Online. Information is provided in B&T Link Online to facilitate the transfer of carts.
